Coast Guard honors the loss of CG-1705 crewmembers

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A Coast Guardsman pays respect to his fallen shipmate during a memorial ceremony Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. The memorial was for the Coast Guard and Marine Corps aircrews who lost their lives in a mid-air collision the evening of Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009.
