LAKE CHARLES SHIP PILOTS' CONTINUE OPERATIONS

Lake Charles, La. - The Lake Charles Ship Pilots' Association has not suspended boardings. All ship traffic continues as normal.

The Pilots' Association is responsible for guiding deep draft commercial ships, such as oil tankers and bulk carriers, through the ship channel they cover. The Lake Charles Ship Pilots' Association covers the ports on the Clacasieu Ship Channel from the Gulf of Mexico into Lake Charles.
