GALVESTON SHIP PILOTS' CONTINUE OPERATIONS

GALVESTON, Texas - The Galveston/Texas City Ship Pilots' Association has not suspended boardings. All ship traffic continues as normal.

The Pilots' Association is responsible for guiding deep draft commercial ships, such as oil tankers and bulk carriers, through the ship channel they cover. The Galveston/Texas City Ship Pilots' Association covers the ports on the Houston Ship Channel in Galveston and Texas City.
