Bellingham Sister Cities Association Board (BSCA) President Terry Carten (left) and City of Tsetserleg Mayor D. Ulziisaikhan celebrate the newly formed relationship between their cities at an August ceremony in Tsetserleg, located in Arkhangai Province in west central Mongolia.
On Aug. 21, 2011, a delegation from Bellingham met with Tsetserleg Mayor Ulziisaikhan, Arkhangai Governor Ë Baatarbileg, and other Tsetserleg leaders to sign the official sister city agreements. Terry Carten, BSCA President, represented Bellingham and Mayor Dan Pike during the signing ceremony. Other BSCA board members in attendance included Bolor Smith, Tsetserleg City Chair and Barbara Sanchez, Past President of BSCA.
