• Early Release for All Schools Monday, Sept. 29
  All Bellingham Schools are operating on an early release schedule for Monday, Sept. 29. The schedule is:
  
• Community Invited to Wade King Elementary Grand Opening, Sept. 29
  Bellingham School District's newest school, Wade King Elementary, is hosting a grand opening community celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday Sept. 29. The event is open to the public.
  
• Bus Delays Possible Along North Shore Drive
  School buses traveling along North Shore Drive that serve Silver Beach Elementary, Whatcom Middle School and Squalicum High School will likely experience delays on Monday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Sept. 23 due to road construction on North Shore Drive.
  
• Voice Mail Not Fully Functional at BHS
  The voice mail system at Bellingham High School is not entirely functional. Technicians are working to address the issue as quickly as possible. The parts needed to fix the problem have been ordered, but need to be installed once they arrive.
  
• Geneva Operating On Time Today, Sept. 3
  The Bellingham School District has been notified by the Whatcom County Sherriff's Department of an incident in the Geneva area. The district has been advised by the Whatcom County Sherriff's Department that Geneva Elementary School should start on time with regular school operations this morning, Sept. 3.
  
• Power Restored at Sehome High School
  Power at Sehome High School has been restored as of 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3. School for all Sehome students will resume at the regular time on Thursday, Sept. 4. A power failure from the main line to the school caused the outage.

• Sehome High School Only Closed Today, Sept. 3
  No Classes for Students Due to Power Outage
  
• Schools, District Closed Labor Day
  All Bellingham Public Schools and the district office at 1306 Dupont St. will be closed for Labor Day.

  Bellingham Public School offices are open to the public for new student registration.
