Psychology professor David Sattler is a disaster expert and conducts projects around the world to improve preparedness for and recovery following natural disasters. He recently established the International Tsunami Museum in Thailand to promote education about tsunami threats following the Indian Ocean tsunami. -

Seth Tucker's Orca Stackers (750.04 KB)
WWU student Seth Tucker took second and received $1,000 for his interlocking wooden "Orca Stackers" in a children's furniture to a competition sponsored by Mt. Baker Products in 2007. Tucker was one of three WWU students who took prizes in the competition. -
