ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Two unidentified members of Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team 91111 explain the uses of their personal equipment, including dry suits, harnesses and weaponry. The demonstration was for the benefit of the 30 attending Corps of Naval Attaches visiting May 26, 2005. ANCHORAGE, Alaska - A boat crew from Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team 91111 (MSST 91111) demonstrates the high-speed maneuverability of a 25-foot small boat at the Port of Anchorage. The three MSST vessel's crews also demonstrated how they prevent an aggressive vessel from reaching the shoreline. One of the vessel's crews displayed a Jolly Roger (pirate flag) to distinguish the boat as the aggressor. ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Lt. Cmdr. Steve Bosau, Commanding Officer of Coast Guard MSST 91111, explains the capabilities of his unit prior to a pier side demonstration of the unit’s ability to intercept an aggressive boat and prevent them from reaching the shoreline. The crew presented the demonstration to benefit the 30 attending Corps of Naval Attaches visiting today.
