COAST GUARD TRAINING CENTER CAPE MAY, N.J. – Petty Officer 1st Class Aaron Woof and Petty Officer 2nd Class Nicholas Durrant share a laugh Tuesday March 20, 2007, as they prepare study material for an upcoming assignment.
The Company Commander School students are required to memorize much of the training center’s standard operating procedures, as well as the manual-of-arms and close-order drill movements in the Marine Corps Drill and Ceremonies Manual.

Virginia Based Coast Guard Cutter Returns Home

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Harriet Lane, home ported in Portsmouth, Va., man the port rail as the ship departs the port of San Juan, Puerto Rico. During a recent 58-day patrol, Harriet Lane crewmembers conducted eight law enforcement boardings, two search and rescue cases and interdicted 29 migrants from the Dominican Republic. Rescue of man suffering from chest pains

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A Coast Guard rescue helicopter crew circles the fishing vessel Kimberly & Katheryn about 55 nautical miles east of Point Pleasant, N.J., Saturday, May 26, 2007.
The aircrew, from Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., was responding to the report of a crewmember aboard the 78-foot scallop boat suffering from chest pains.
Jeff Rowe, 38, was hoisted aboard the aircraft and transported to Atlantic City Medical Center, Mainland Division, in critical condition.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A life jacket and life ring, each with the vessel name Mary James written on them have been transported to Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City.
Crews continue to search for the vessel's crew, off the coast of New Jersey.
