One Up Your Giving
As a part of being a blessing this year, we are seeking to One Up Our Giving. All who are willing and able are encouraged to increase their charitable giving this year by at least 1% and bless FPC or any of a host of great ministries and missionaries that need support during this recession. At this time of economic uncertainty we seek to move forward in certain faith and loving generosity. Our God will and does provide for our needs!
Blest2Bless bracelets
Get your bracelet while we still have them! There are some left and we are wearing them as a reminder that we are a blessed people, a blessed church, and that God calls us to be a blessing to others. If you would like to donate towards the cost of these bracelets, stick a dollar in the offering or in the Suggestion Box in the Lobby. Kid's size are also available. Don't be caught without one!
Blest2Bless Scriptures
As you walk from the Foyer into the stairwell to take you downstairs, you are going to notice some scriptures on the walls. Touch them, memorize them, keep them close to your heart. They are:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8
"I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing... and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."
Genesis 12:2-3
We will also be encouraging people to read the Sermon on the Mount once a week.

International Justice Mission - IJM
IJM is a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local governments to ensure vicitm rescue, to prosecute perpetrators and to strengthen the community and civic factors that promote functioning public justice systems.
In the tradition of abolitionist William Wilberforce and transformational leaders like Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, Jr., IJM's work is founded on the Christian call to justice articulated in the Bible (Isaiah 1:17): Seek justice, protect the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.
Do you have a heart to be a part of this ministry? Here are some ways to get involved:
