BP has committed $38 million towards promoting Alabama Tourism

Tourism is important to Alabama and its economy, and BP is working to ensure that individuals are able to enjoy the ecotourism, beaches, music, arts, historical and other cultural attractions that make Alabama a special place to visit. BP has made substantial investments in promotion of Gulf Coast tourism by sponsoring events such as the Concerts on the Coast music series, the 39th Annual National Shrimp Festival and the BayFest Music Festival.
