Coast Guard Cutter Active first to arrive for Coast Guard Days
 

SAN PEDRO, Calif. — The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Active arrives in Cabrillo Beach at berth 46 July 3 to take part in Coast Guard Days sponsored by the Navy League of Los Angeles .

The events will also include the 87-foot Coast Guard Cutter Blackfin and the175-foot Coast Guard Cutter George Cobb that will arive at about  8:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

Free public tours of the Coast Guard Cutters Active and George Cobb will be given between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will be an HH-65C Dolphin from Air Station Los Angeles performing a search and rescue demonstration at 5:30 p.m.  In addition, there will be 25-foot Coast Guard response boats on trailers and Coast Guard recruiter and Auxiliary booths.
