***CORRECTION***Coast Guard establishes a webcast address for CG-1705 memorial service

Sacramento, Calif. -- The webcast address for the CG-1705 memorial service scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. has been updated to the link below.

The live webcast may be accessed by the public and media at http://mfile.akamai.com/44509/live/reflector:45536.asx?prop(equal)n. The memorial service is being held at Air Station Sacramento to honor the seven aircrew personnel from CG-1705 who went missing after their C-130 and a Marine Corps AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter collied over the pacific ocean near San Clemente Island, Calif.

The webcast will begin in concert with the memorial service, but until that time, nothing will be posted or streaming on the website.

The Coast Guard appreciates the outpouring of support from the community of Sacramento, but the memorial service will only be open to family and Coast Guard members. The public may view the ceremony at the link above.
