CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Petty Officer 2nd Class Virginia Bockwitz lights a candle in honor of deceased veterans during an early Veterans Day ceremony at the South Norfolk Community Center in Chesapeake Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009. The ceremony, hosted by the Niners Senior Citizens Club, honored veterans and active-duty military personnel with a candle-lit service, the distribution of roses to veterans and military members, and music.
