Availibities during Harborfest and Fourth of July weekend
|

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Coast Guard has invited media to get underway on the Coast Guard Cutter Cochito during its participation in the Parade of Sail during the Norfolk Harborfest Friday morning. Crew members of the Cochito, an 87-foot patrol boat homeported at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, will be available for interview. Attending media should plan to be at Integrated Support Command Portsmouth at 9 a.m. to get underway with the Coast Guard Auxiliary who will take them to the Cochito. After the Parade of Sail, the Cochito will return to ISC Portsmouth at approximately noon, when media are invited to tour the Coast Guard's Harborfest mobile command center, Coast Guard Cutter Kennebec, at Hospital Point in Portsmouth.
