Coast Guard crews searching for 1 near Barnegat, N.J.
BARNEGAT, N.J. - The Coast Guard is searching Tuesday for a man who disappeared aboard a 40-foot boat in the Barnegat Inlet here. Missing is Clint Vanorsdell. The Coast Guard received a call at 6:10 p.m. Monday reporting the Second Wind in Barnegat Inlet with no one aboard. The reporting source stated they saw Vanorsdell taking down his sails before entering the inlet. A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light, a rescue helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Ibis and members of the New Jersey State Police are searching for Vanorsdell.
