Junior Firefighters from Baltimore County visit Coast Guard Yard
|
|
BALTIMORE- Coast Guard Yard Fire Department personnel hosted the Junior Firefighters of Baltimore County today as part of the childrens summer day camp program.
Children between the ages six and 10 visited the Fire Department where they went through a smoke maze, played a game of soccer using fire hoses and visited Coast Guard Station Curtis Bay to learn about the Coast Guard and its missions.
The fire deparment at the Coast Guard Yard is the only all active duty department in the Coast Guard.
