ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - Coast Guard officials confirmed today, that a 34-year old male was deceased after a diving incident 38 miles southeast of Cape May, N.J.

Next of kin notifications are pending and the name of the deceased will not be released by Coast Guard officials. It is the Coast Guard's policy not to release names of deceased after a search and rescue effort has been completed.

Coast Guard Investigative Service agents will conduct an inquiry into the incident.
