Youth & Worship Director

Robby Olson

We are very excited to welcome Robby and Jenni Olson to Bellingham and the FPC community.  Robby has joined the staff team as our Youth & Worship Director.

He comes to FPC with over 10 years of experience as a youth director and worship leader.  He has served at Presbyterian churches in both in California and Wisconsin.  Most recently, Robby has been serving at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church as their Outreach Director.  As Youth Director, Robby has a passion to foster youth ministry programs with strong values of personal spiritual growth, community, Christian service, and evangelism.

Robby graduated from University of California Berkeley in 1999 with a religious studies degree and his college pastor during those years was our own Pastor Doug Bunnell.  Robby is currently a part-time student at Fuller Theological Seminary Extension pursuing a Master of Divinity.  He will continue his part-time studies at Fuller’s Seattle extension while serving at FPC and working toward his ordination in the Presbyterian Church USA. Robby is a musician, basketball fan, and enjoys biking whenever he can.

Robby and Jenni dated throughout college and they have been married for 7 1/2 years now.  Jenni is in the all-but-dissertation part of her PhD in Musicology from University of Wisconsin.  Jenni and Robby enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, spending time with their cute nephews and nieces, and serving the kingdom.
