The Ugandan Orphans Choir is coming to FPC on November 22nd!
Several years ago, Childcare Worldwide started a special ministry, the Ugandan Orphans Choir. As they sing, dance and play a variety of native instruments, these precious children share the authenticity of Africa, their love of Jesus and hope for other orphaned children. All of the boys and girls in the choir are orphans and they know what it is like to have no one to turn to. The good news is that all of these children were rescued through child sponsorship and now they help rescue others through this unique and powerful ministry.

How to prepare
- Pray for the health and safety of the children and their leaders as they travel.
- Pray that people will be led to sponsor children throughout the tour.
- Mark the date on your calendar and be thinking about friends and neighbors you can invite.
YWCA Christmas Party

FPC's focus this year for Christmas is to Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More and Love
We have a wonderful BLEST2BLESS opportunity for FPC as a community to conspire to love our neighbors who live at the YWCA. Over the last few years we have blessed our neighbors, some of whom worship with us, by throwing them a Christmas Party. This year will be no different!
Mark your calendar and come help the Connecting @ FPC Team throw a party!

Whatcom Middle School - Help Teachers & Students
Fire gutted Whatcom Middle School early on the morning of 11/5. As you can imagine, this horrible loss has affected our entire
community. Fortunately no one was injured. However it will be an enormous undertaking to rebuild and restock supplies, especially
for low‐income students, teachers who have lost years of accumulated supplies, playground equipment, musical instruments, etc.
If you would like to donate funds to help out those who are in such need, please do the following:
- Make your check out to Whatcom Middle School PTSA—please do not make checks out to FPC.
- Drop it in the containers as you leave church today, and we will forward the funds to them on behalf of our church. Our Middle Schoolers will be at the back of the sanctuary today to collect these donations.
- If you want to give cash, you can also drop that off in the containers and we will get the money to the Whatcom PTSA.
