In This E-mail Doug's Weekly Reflection Blest2Bless Thoughts Weekly Update Preparing for Sunday Shout Out Prayers Thanksgiving Numbers- Many pastors live and die by numbers, but I must confess that I am not always a numbers guy- I don't know if the numbers always tell the whole story- but this weekend was so big, the numbers might help give us a taste of all that God is doing... Here are some numbers-
65- This weekend 65 people from our Presbytery, at least half of them from FPC blessed 3- The number of families in Acme that were deeply impacted by the flood and slides of this winter and served by Mud Removal Day. 50- The Tierra Nueva Coffee Project brought 50 lbs. of coffee to FPC to sell on Sunday and it was gone very early in the coffee break. For those interested in buying into this very just coffee, you can get it online at- http://tierranuevastore.mybisi.com/ We are hoping there are some that would be willing to take on a coffee ministry and make this coffee available at FPC once a month. Any takers? 96- Packets of Compassion kids that were taken on Sunday Night- with 75 sponsored for sure. That means 75+ kids will be fed, clothed, educated, prayed for, and blessed because of what happened on Sunday Night- To God be the Glory!!! A full house of people that came and were blessed by Tony's challenging word. 1- One God who is blessing our community and challenging and wooing us to be a blessing and make a difference in this world.
If you missed either of these very important words they are available on our web-site under audio sermons, please listen to them, you will be blessed and you will be challenged.
In His Big Joy,
Doug B.
