The Need
Came out of the FPC2 Summits
The desire for a long range plan- 20 yrs.
Working on the shoulders of those who have labored for years here
Pressing space needs- specifically in Classroom and Office space
Charge
develop a 20 year strategy based on the assumptions that
FPC will remain on the corner of Maple and N. Garden
There will be no dramatic change to the church sanctuary.
All spaces will be designed as multiple use spaces with the exception of the sanctuary.
Hoped for Outcome
Present Session and then the Congregation in late Winter ‘09 with:
- conceptual Drawings
- phases
- preliminary timeline
Key Question
What about 1019, 1015, 1011 N. Garden St.?
We are looking into that-
both apartment went on sale 10 years ago for 500k
We have sent a letter to all 3 owners, and we will follow up with a personal connection
We have encouraged Session to form a committee that would be ready to purchase the houses if they come on the market.

Build a building on top with:
