| Coast Guard rescues 3 men, 2 dogs near Lake Okeechobee |
|
MIAMI -- The Coast Guard rescued three men and two dogs near Lake Okeechobee, Fla., Monday afternoon. Martin County Fire Rescue personnel located the stranded men in distress and contacted the Coast Guard for assistance with the rescue. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Miami was immediately launched. Once on scene, the Dolphin helicopter crew safely hoisted the three men and their two dogs and transferred them to an awaiting Martin County ambulance crew. |
