Coast Guard solicits input on proposed pedestrian bridge

MIAMI -- The Seventh Coast Guard District bridge administration branch has received a permit request to construct a pedestrian bridge next to U.S. Highway 1 between Cudjoe Key, Fla., and Summerland Key, Fla.

Information and diagrams on the propsed bridge can be found at the following website.

The Coast Guard is soliciting input on the proposed bridge from concerned mariners. Input needs to be mailed or received by Aug. 23, 2009, and can be sent to Commander (dpb), Seventh Coast Guard District, 909 S.E. 1st Avenue, Suite 432, Miami, Fla., 33131.
