**Media Invite** TAMPA, Fla. - The media is invited to attend a multi-agency National Safe Boating Week demonstration from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, at the Gandy Boat Ramp in Tampa, Fla. May 17-23 is National Safe Boating Week and members from the Coast Guard, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), Pinellas and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Offices and Tampa Fire and Rescue will speak about, and demonstrate, boating-safety scenarios to encourage the public to practice safer boating in the Tampa Bay area. The agencies will provide live demonstrations including personal-watercraft etiquette, fire prevention and a man-overboard exercise featuring Major Dennis Post, FWC Southwest Regional Commander . Interviews with members from each agency will be available. ***Media Note: All media members interesting in attending are asked to arrive at the Gandy Boat Ramp at 5120 Gandy Blvd., in Tampa, at 7:45 a.m. Monday.*** ###
