We are pleased to have Donna Hilty, Human Resource Manager of Whidbey Telecom and Connie Foulk, Human Resource Manager at DIS Corporation speak to us about Healthcare benefits for small businesses at our October 21st luncheon.
In recent years businesses have experienced double-digit health insurance premium hikes. The premium growth rate this year 9.2 percent outpaced by miles both the growth in wages (2.7 percent) and inflation (3.5 percent), according to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey released this month. Not only are the health care costs skyrocketing but small businesses are forced to
pay disproportionately higher health insurance premiums than larger corporations.
Donna Hilty and Connie Foulk will provide a general overview on strategies for controlling health care costs for small businesses. Practical tips will be presented using examples from their own experience.
