The Bellingham/Whatcom Technology Alliance Group (TAG) was formed in 1999 to address the needs of a growing technology industry in Whatcom County. As the industry evolved, membership grew and TAG’s mission to promote, educate, and advocate for Northwest Washington technology businesses positively impacted an increasing number of companies.

Today TAG, a 501(6) non-profit organization is the Northwest Chapter of the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA), serving technology businesses in Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. Our mission remains the same, but affiliation with the WTIA has broadened our scope. In addition to enhanced networking, advocacy, and educational opportunities, the WTIA offers TAG the power of a considerable purchasing cooperative, an industry knowledge-base and a state-wide resource for employment opportunities in the technology industry.

For members in Northwest Washington, TAG offers the advantage of monthly meetings highlighting member businesses and a variety of respected industry speakers. TAG also offers special interest groups for information technology professionals as well as popular annual events. This website includes information on upcoming as well as past events.

Membership in the Northwest Chapter of the Washington technology Industry Association brings unequivocal value to individuals and companies working with technology, or technology-related businesses or corresponding issues.
