I hope you are enjoying this resurgence of summer weather! TAG is taking a break from its monthly meetings and will not have a meeting this Friday, August 21.  We are busy gearing up for our fall programs that start with the speaker series on September 18 followed by the highly anticipated annual scholarship fundraiser Tech Stomp. TAG and special guests

TAG announces its fifth annual scholarship fundraiser on September 22nd. Relax and mingle with tech-focused business and civic leaders while supporting the leaders of tomorrow.

Highlights:

  • Address by Dr. George 'Pinky' Nelson, Educator and Astronaut
  • 2008 Scholarship stories by Paul Grey
  • Bocceball Tournament (random teams of 4)
  • Hawaiian shirt & Muumuu dress contest with prizes for style, substance and daring!
  • Live music by the walrus
  • Wine and delicious hors d'oeuvres

Net proceeds from Tech Stomp 2009 will go to the TAG Scholarship Fund, which grants scholarships to students in technology fields attending colleges in Whatcom County.
