COAST GUARD OPENS ICE RESCUE TRAINING TO THE PRESS

ESSEXVILLE:  Coast Guard personnel from around the Great Lakes will come together at the Coast Guard Ice Center of Excellence located at Station Saginaw River in Essexville, Michigan to conduct ice rescue training.  This training will discuss new rescue techniques and new resources that will improve Coast Guard ice rescue capabilities on the Great Lakes.  Coast Guard personnel will be available for interviews on ice rescue.

Who:  Chief Petty Officer Terry Lathrop and Jason Rule, Group/ Marine Safety Office Detroit and members of Coast Guard Station Saginaw River.

When 1pm- 4pm, January 26th.
