REP. AND MRS. HASTERT VISIT THE NEW US COAST GUARD ICEBREAKER MACKINAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT MARINETTE MARINE CORPORATION

MARINETTE, WI - Mrs. Jean Hastert, the sponsor for the new Coast Guard Icebreaker Mackinaw (WLBB 30), visited Marinette Marine Corporation today to see the ship under construction.  Mrs. Hastert was accompanied by her husband, Rep. J. Dennis Hastert Speaker of the US House of Representatives, and Rear Admiral Dale Gabel, the USCG Assistant Commandant for Acquisition. Mrs. Hastert plans to return to MMC to christen the new USCGC Mackinaw at the launch ceremony scheduled for March 19th 2005.
