Clearing the safety loops (large)
ABOARD CGC ACACIA (March 19, 2004)— Coast Guard Seaman Jimmy Allen releases safety loops on the hook holding the buoy to the side of the Coast Guard Cutter Acacia while Seaman Michael Sawicki and Seaman Brandon Hudson back him up. Once the safety loops are released the buoy will be unhooked and the ship will move away. Acacia was in the Chicago area to check and replace buoys for the 2004 Great Lakes shipping season.
