KENOSHA, Wis. – Congressmen Paul Ryan will present Coast Guard Station Kenosha with unit and individual awards for Law Enforcement excellence at a formal ceremony on December 4, at 2:30 PM.

In support of Coast Guard Group Milwaukee’s law enforcement initiative, Operation Last Call, Station Kenosha conducted 329 law enforcement boardings and issued 13 Boating Under the Influence citations this past summer.

Studies indicate that 50% of boating fatalities and accidents are alcohol related.  Operation Last Call directly targeted getting drunken boaters off of the waters.
