U.S. Coast Guard establishes temporary safety zone for CLEVELAND - The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on Lake Erie during the Cleveland National Air Show. The safety zone will be effective from 8 a.m. through 6 p.m., on August 27, 2008 to September 1, 2008. The safety zone is necessary to protect persons and vessels from the potential safety hazards associated with high speed, low altitude acrobatic and military aircraft.
