USCG AIR STATION ASSISTS FLOOD VICTIMS IN OHIO DETROIT - U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Detroit launched a helicopter, today, to assist Ohio flood victims. An HH-65 Dolphin helicopter was launched this afternoon and recovered two people from the roof of a house in the city of Shelby, Ohio. The Coast Guard helicopter was requested to assist with the search of flood victims by the Richland County Emergency Management Agency. U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Detroit is co-located at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Mt. Clemens, Mich.
