SECTOR BUFFALO COMMANDER TO RE-ENFORCE BUFFALO, N.Y. - Capt. Scott Ferguson, commanding officer of U.S. Coast Guard Sector Buffalo, will be in Syracuse, N.Y. to speak on boating safety. His speech, re-enforcing boating safety throughout Sector Buffalo's area of responsibility, will be the second of four scheduled for August. WHO: Capt. WHERE: J.M. Hanley Federal Building, Syracuse, N.Y. WHY: Capt. Ferguson and Sector Buffalo are re-enforcing boating safety in their area of responsibility which includes more than 600 miles of international border, consisting of the St. Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, the Niagara River, Lake Erie and the Erie Canal System.
