A watchstander at Sector Houston-Galveston received a call at approximately 8:40 a.m. from a man aboard a 24-foot pleasure craft. The man requested assistance because the boat was taking on water and his bilge pump was not able to counteract the incoming flow of water. The Coast Guard launched an MH-65C Dolphin helicopter from Air Station Houston and a 25-foot Response Boat-Small from Station Galveston to assist. The Dolphin and the RB-S both arrived on scene at approximately 9:20 a.m. The Dolphin crew hoisted the men into the helicopter and transferred them to Air Station Houston. The men were in good condition when they arrived at Air Station Houston. ### Saving Lives and Guarding the Coast Since 1790.
