Quarterly South Texas Coastal Zone Area Committee Meeting

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The South Texas Coastal Zone Area Committee (STCZAC) will hold its quarterly meeting in Point Comfort, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13th, 2008.  The public is invited to attend the meeting that will be held at the Formosa Guest House, Formosa Plastics, Point Comfort.

The STCZAC serves as a spill preparedness planning body responsible for developing coordinated multiple agency response strategies for the threat or actual discharge of oil or hazardous substances in pre-designated Inland and Coastal zones.

Agenda items for this meeting will include briefings on the Mexico/ U. S. joint operation oil spill drill (MEXUS), a presentation on LNG with a question and answer session, and information on upcoming drills and exercises in 2008.
