The scope of the contract is to design and construct the new ISC NOLA facilities.  The new facilities will be built on 26 acres at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility installation.  They will include a new Administrative and Berthing building totaling approximately 81,000 gross square feet (GSF), a new combination Industrial and Shipping Receiving building totaling approximately 49,000 GSF with an additional 7,200 GSF of Covered Storage; and all associated utilities, roadways, security, and parking areas to house ISC NOLA functions and tenant commands.

Waterfront facilities consist of a pier, a wharf, and a floodwall gate through which vessels and buoys will be transported to the Industrial building. 

The project execution will be managed by the Coast Guard's Facilities Design and Construction Center (Atlantic) in Norfolk, VA.  Construction is expected to begin this summer and is scheduled for completion in late 2010.
