UPDATE: COAST GUARD CONTINUES SEARCH FOR MISSING SWIMMER IN LAKE MAUREPAUS | |

NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard is continuing the search today for a 36-year-old man that was reported missing in Lake Maurepaus on Saturday afternoon. The Coast Guard was notified Saturday afternoon that the man reportedly went swimming off a pontoon boat and failed to return to the surface. Coast Guard Station New Orleans has a 41-foot utlity boat on-scene searching the reported area of the lake. The Coast Guard plans to search throughout the day. ### | |
