UPDATE: COAST GUARD CONTINUES SEARCH FOR MISSING 7-YEAR-OLD BOY

NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard along with the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Department and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries are continuing to search today for a 7-year-old boy that went missing on Saturday in Fresh Water Bayou.

The Coast Guard was notified on Saturday afternoon after the boat the boy transiting on capsized.

Searching are:

• A Coast Guard Auxiliary airplane.
• A boatcrew from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
• A boatcrew from the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Department.

The Coast Guard plans to search throughout the day.
