ADVISORY: Coast Guard air crews performing search and rescue operations are requesting persons in the New Orleans area to hang brightly colored or white sheets, towels or anything else that might help draw attention to those still in need of assistance. Air and boat crews from numerous agencies are continuing to locate and rescue people from flooded homes and neighborhoods in and around New Orleans. ### | |
