  • Middle, 11:30 a.m. dismissal

Families will receive information from their school regarding their conference time and date.

A.M. and P.M. kindergarten will follow the 2009-10 kindergarten calendar during conferences. Please click here to view.  Morning kindergarten classes will be held on Nov. 18, 19, 20 and 25.  Afternoon kindergarten classes will attend school in the morning 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 24. Full-day kindergarten will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.

In addition, high schools will release early on Friday, Nov. 20 and Wednesday, Nov. 25, according to the regular early release schedule:

  • High school, 10:30 a.m. dismissal
  • Options/GRADS, 12:30 p.m. dismissal

Elementary, middle and high school staff members use the time on early release days to improve student learning by planning and working with their colleagues on instruction, curriculum, assessment, professional development, parent/family/teacher conferences and communication.

Reminder: As a result of the recent contract agreement with the Bellingham Education Association (BEA) -- the teachers' association -- Friday, Nov. 20 has been added as an early release day for all students in the Bellingham School District. Families are asked to please make this change on their calendars. To view the updated school year calendar, please click here.
