The Bellingham School District Board of Directors is honoring 36 graduating seniors from across all four high schools on May 15 for their outstanding achievements and contributions to their school communities.
Each high school set criteria and selected their 2008 Districtwide Graduating Senior Stars.
Bellingham High School
Bellingham High School selected seniors for this districtwide recognition based on their ability throughout their high school experience to live out the school's collective commitments, which are: to treat all members of the BHS community with dignity and respect, to take care of the school, and to expect quality work all the time from all facets of the school community. The 2008 Senior Stars from BHS are:

Options High School/GRADS Program
Options, the district's alternative high school, and the Graduation Reality And Dual-Role Skills (GRADS) teen parent program, selected seniors based on their ability to overcome adversity in their pursuit of excellence. The 2008 Senior Stars from Options/GRADS are:

Sehome High School
Sehome High School staff and students selected seniors based on their outstanding accomplishments in one or more of the following areas: academic excellence, community service and citizenship, school involvement and leadership, or personal growth. Sehome's 2008 Senior Stars are:
