| May 16th. Please join us! A celebration table will be set up on Friday May 16 from 7:45-9am, when thousands of Bellingham and Whatcom County commuters will hit the road on two wheels and their own feet to celebrate the area's 11th annual Bike to Work and School Day. Participating cyclists and walkers can fuel up with free muffins, cookies, juice, and treats at our school and other locations around town. Friday morning strings students are encouraged to bring their instruments on Thursday so that they may bike or walk to school. Other May 16 Bike to Work and School Day Celebrations: Junior Ski to Sea Parade - 5:00-7:00 p.m. Bike in the Junior Ski to Sea Parade and bike to Mallard Ice Cream, 1323 Railroad Ave. Show your " I biked " sticker and get $1.00 off on ice cream cones. Evening Celebration- 5:00-7:00 p.m. Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro, 1107 Railroad Ave. Show your "I Biked" sticker and get free entry to the music. fun and prize drawing. Fall Enrollment Now
Do you have a friend or neighbor whose child is turning 5 by August 31st? If so, let them know we are registering kindergartners now for the coming school year. Registration packets are available in the office. We are also registering other grades who are new to Happy Valley (coming from private school, moving in from out of town, etc.).
