| Roosevelt, Sunnyland events include art, open gym
Photo: Children run in the Sunnyland Elementary gym on Tuesday evening, May 8 during Family Fun and Crafts Night. The evening was funded by a civic engagement grant from the Bellingham Public School Foundation. The grant also funded museum visits, free skating, soccer and swimming during Turn Off TV Week, May 4-12, for students at Larrabee, Roosevelt and Sunnyland. Summer School 2007

New this year, Middle Level College Ready Academies will support students entering grades 7 and 8 with exploring college and career interests while strengthening their math and literacy skills. The Academies are open to all students. Field trips to local colleges and community connections may be included. Elementary Boundaries The Bellingham School District Board of Directors unanimously adopted new elementary school boundaries outlined in Proposal A with some modifications. These boundaries will be implemented beginning in fall 2008 for southside Bellingham and fall 2009 for northside Bellingham to coincide with the opening of new schools. Click here to read more...
