| "Bellingham School District's high-performing schools continue to make significant gains and strive to improve every day. We believe all students in our school system, from kindergarten through grade 12, should be challenged, high-level thinkers," says Superintendent Dale E. Kinsley. "Our district's goal is for all students to graduate as skilled learners with the courses required by four-year universities, no matter what path they choose beyond high school. If we prepare all students with the highest expectations and support, they graduate ready for any type of career with a diversity of options within reach and a promising future ahead." To help mobilize Americans to demand change, STAND UP has launched a Web site, http://www.standup.org/, which provides valuable information, guidance and tools for parents, guardians and concerned citizens to support students and excellent high schools in every community.
