O’Brien’s Announces Senior Appointments

Rear Admiral Steve Branham (USCG, Retired) has joined O’Brien’s as Executive Vice President of Government Services.  Steve will assume overall responsibilities for the Government Services Group (formerly Solid Resources Inc.).

Steve comes to O’Brien’s following his recent retirement from the U.S. Coast Guard after 33 years of service. Steve most recently served as the District Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard’s 7th District, headquartered in Miami, Florida.  During his U.S. Coast Guard career, Steve held positions of increasing responsibility, including that of Assistant Commandant for Resources and Chief Financial Officer and before that, Chief of Staff and Chief of Operations for the U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area. Steve has 12 years of sea duty and has commanded four U.S. Coast Guard cutters. Steve’s formal education includes a Master’s in National Security Strategy, a Master’s in Business Administration and a BS from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

Sales professional Bill Howe has joined O’Brien’s as Vice President, Sales. Bill is leading the sales programs of O’Brien’s product and service lines.

Bill brings more than 20 years of professional sales leadership experience; most recently with public relations software as a service provider, Vocus, where he lead that company’s field sales organization to successive year over year sales increases.  Prior to Vocus, Bill served as Vice President, Sales at Inova Solutions, a global provider of software and services to command and call center businesses. Bill has also held sales management positions with Siemens and Legrand. Bill holds a BS from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, with a concentration in Marketing and Systems Engineering.
