SEATTLE - Volunteers for the Holiday Stocking for Homeless Children assembled at Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Seattle's gym to organize toys and essential items for children in need during the holidays. This annual event is held by the Coast Guard Spouses Association and surrounding community to provide and deliver holiday stockings for homeless children in the Puget Sound area that are living in and out of shelters. SEATTLE - The Holiday Stockings For Homeless Children is an annual effort to provide and deliver holiday stockings filled with new gifts and useful items to Puget Sound area homeless children living in and out of shelters. SEATTLE - 10-year-old Ryan Troub, a Boy Scout from Edmonds, Wash., volunteered Friday for the Coast Guard and Friends Holiday Stockings for Homeless Children. The charity group was created in 1996, and is one of several charities sponsored by the Coast Guard Spouses Association. Volunteers organized toys and essential items at Integrated Support Command Seattle for children living in and out of shelters in the Puget Sound area.
