Auxiliarist (GEORGE WASHINGTON) is cited for superior professional achievement while serving as Division 4 Captain where he provided invaluable management and leadership support from (MONTH YEAR to MONTH YEAR). During this timeframe, he also took on the additional responsibilities of Flotilla Commander for Flotilla 41 in (YEAR). Auxiliarist (WASHINGTON) set himself aside as a true leader and mentor when he stepped forward to lead in the revitalization and re-organization of Flotilla 47 in Port Townsend, Washington. Auxiliarist (WASHINGTON) was instrumental in planning, developing and executing the many public affair events that were intended to increase the awareness of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and attract new members. The Revitalization effort involved recruiting and managing the services of 30 Auxiliarists for an extended period of time. Without Auxiliarists (WASHINGTON)'s commitment and focus the many Public Affairs events that were arranged and superbly executed could not have taken place or been effective. He professionally assembled a blueprint for the revitalization process of a Flotilla and is largely responsible for this process being adopted by District Thirteen.Auxiliarist (WASHINGTON)'s vision and leadership is second to none in promoting the goals of the Auxiliary. Auxiliarist (WASHINGTON)'s spirit of volunteerism, diligence, and devotion to service are mort heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
