Tribes and federal agencies to make historic
announcement for Columbia River Basin fish
Portland, Ore. - Tribes and federal agencies will announce unprecedented proposed agreements benefiting the region's fish at a special press telephone conference briefing Monday, April 7, 2008.
Who: Leaders and other representatives from tribes and federal agencies with roles and responsibilities in the Columbia River Basin.
What: Significant proposed agreements for the Columbia River Basin have been reached between tribes and federal agencies. This special press announcement also formally begins a public comment period on these proposals.
When: The press telephone conference will be hosted Monday, April 7, 2008 beginning at 11 a.m. Pacific time and will last until approximately 12:15 p.m. Pacific time.
