Ladies and Gentlemen, Private Sector Partners, and all NLE 09 participants:
THIS IS NOT PART OF THE SIMULATION ADVISORY FOR THE NATIONAL LEVEL EXERCISE.
The following information was received at the NLE 09 Controller-Evaluation Team and I have been requested to share it with our constituents. This information is an actual operational advisory.
Please be advised that there have been attempts to solicit sensitive National Level Exercise information from various participating venues.
Facility security officers and law enforcement commanders have advised the NLE 09 Controller-Evaluation Cell that certain individuals are contacting exercise participants under the guise of participating in the exercise and seeking sensitive security related information regarding the exercise. At one point, the caller stated that they were seeking sensitive security information as part of an open records request.
If you are contacted please request the full name and call back information from the caller as well as their role and agency. Do not give out security information or specific exercise details without assuring that they are exercise participants.
Please report any suspicious activity or attempts to solicit information to your local police department or any NLE contacts that you have.
